OUR WORK

6 machines and 1 outside client so far.

The PC that wouldn't start

Troubleshooting drivers and BIOS, checking old SATA and 3.5-inch drives, backing up data first. Then Linux Mint, a GPU upgrade, a Wi-Fi card, deep cleaning, cable management and BIOS tweaks for performance.

The laptop that ran too hot

An entry-level Mi Notebook. The fan had come loose from the motherboard, so we reconnected it and sealed the vent gaps so air passes through the cooling fins. Then Nobara Linux, a better fit for 8 GB of RAM and gaming, plus drivers and game installs.

The 8-year-old Ideapad

Our first outside client. The owner was paying ₹3,000 for a USB Wi-Fi dongle and getting about 1 Mbps. We fitted an Intel Wi-Fi card in the M.2 slot [CONFIRM MEASURED SPEED], moved the system to a 300 GB SATA SSD, installed Nobara, encrypted the drive, and delivered the old data through the cloud as the client wished.

Old PC to home file server

Deep clean, Linux, and an M.2 SSD for faster boot-ups, converted into a home NAS.

Skills: Windows 10 and 11, Ubuntu and Fedora-based Linux, macOS, Raspberry Pi, command line, data backup, recovery and drive encryption.
